#290: What Cancer Costs

I spent some time with Excel and a stack of medical bills today. These prelimary numbers represent expenses not covered by insurance. The figures are not complete. I'll update them as new bills come up. I'm sure there are lots of lessons to be drawn from all this, but I'm not sure what they are just yet. Maybe I need one of those copywriters from Visa to come up with a final line like, "Living to see another Christmas? Priceless."

  2. You are more than worth it Bob! I am so sorry that this is happening to you. I feel a tiny bit of your pain in that every day's mail brings me new bills from my hospitalizations in June and late July. It never seems to end.... Praying for you Bob. You are an amazing man and the world is a better place with you in it! Thanks be to God.

  3. Wait, insurance did not cover radiation???? How can that be?

Of course it is wonderful that you live to see another Christmas, but...wow! I wouldn't have guessed so much would not be covered! Sobering indeed.
